Our Two Insurance Options

Option 1: Lump-Sum All-Risks Insurance

Fast, simple, and hassle-free protection.

(Perfect for most customers)

✔ No need to list every item
✔ Pre-assigned value per CBM
✔ Great for straightforward household shipments

How It Works:

• Coverage is based on USD 3,000 per CBM of final packed volume
• Only items valued over USD 1,000 must be listed individually
• No item or set may exceed 50% of the total insured value
• Premium: 3.5% of total insured value
• Deductible: USD 250 per claim

Example (from your brochure)

6 CBM shipment →

• •  Insured value = 6 × USD 3,000 = USD 18,000
  • Premium = 3.5% → USD 630

If you list 4 items at USD 1,500 each:

• • Additional value = USD 6,000
  • Total insured value = USD 24,000
  • Premium = 3.5% → USD 840

This option gives fast, simple, affordable coverage.

Option 2: Valued Inventory All-Risks Insurance

Tailored coverage for curated, high-value, or luxury shipments.

(Best for fine art, antiques, high-end furniture, premium electronics)

✔ You declare the value of each item
✔ You control the total insured value
✔ Perfect for high-value or detailed shipments

How It Works

• A full valued inventory is required
• Premium is 3.5% of your declared value
• Minimum declared value: USD 3,000
• Deductible: USD 250 per claim
• Undeclared items are not covered

Example

Declared value: USD 20,000 →
Premium = 3.5% → USD 700

This option gives maximum flexibility for high-value moves from or to Thailand.

Storage Insurance

First 90 days of storage coverage are included — free.
Need more time? Storage can be extended at only 0.25% per month of the insured value.

Perfect for customers waiting for new home keys, visa processing, or renovations.

What All-Risks Insurance Covers

Both options cover loss or damage due to:

• Fire, flood, collision 
• Theft or pilferage 
• Rough handling by third parties 
• Port or terminal damage 
• Marine accidents 
• Breakage (if properly packed by us) 
• Mold or humidity (subject to terms) 
• Total loss due to vessel/aircraft incident 

Coverage applies door to door, including:

✔ Packing
✔ Transport
✔ Port handling
✔ Customs inspection
✔ Final delivery

What Is Not Covered

Common exclusions include:

• Self-packed items (unless approved) 
• Items not declared (Option 2) 
• Prohibited/illegal goods 
• Cash, jewelry, precious stones 
• Pre-existing damage 
• Motor vehicles (separate policy required)

How to Purchase Insurance

Insurance must be purchased before packing day, as required by international insurers.

Step 1: Select Option 1 (Lump-Sum) or Option 2 (Valued Inventory)

Step 2: Confirm item list (if required)

Step 3: Pay premium via invoice

Step 4: Receive certificate of insurance
